关于举办浙江师范大学堪萨斯大学联合教育学院揭牌仪式暨同期学术会议的通知Notice on the Unveiling Ceremony of the Joint Education Institute of Zhejiang Normal University and the University of Kansas and the Concurrent Academic Conference
浙江师范大学堪萨斯大学联合教育学院于2023年4月由教育部正式批复成立，同年6月正式招收第一届本科学生。在联合教育学院办学一周年之际，恰逢国家主席习近平复信美国肯恩大学校长，强调中美高校通过多种形式加强交流合作，培养既了解中国也熟知美国的青年使者，为促进中美友好搭建更多桥梁。为进一步推进学院建设、充分发挥联合教育学院在促进中美教育文化交流合作中的作用，拟定于2024年6月20日在浙江师范大学举行浙江师范大学堪萨斯大学联合教育学院揭牌仪式暨同期学术会议。现将有关事项通知如下：
The Joint Education Institute of Zhejiang Normal University and the University of Kansas was officially approved by the Ministry of Education, China in April 2023. It began recruiting its first cohort of undergraduates in June of the same year. On the occasion of the first anniversary of the Institute, President Xi Jinping responded to a letter from the President of Kean University in the United States, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanges between Chinese and American universities. The goal is to cultivate young ambassadors who are well-versed in both China and the United States, thereby building more bridges of friendship and understanding between the two nations. To further advance the development of the Joint Education Institute and fully leverage its role in promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and the United States, it is planned that on June 20, 2024, Zhejiang Normal University will host the Unveiling Ceremony of the Joint Education Institute of Zhejiang Normal University and the University of Kansas, accompanied by a concurrent academic conference.
