In order to improve the language thinking ability of students of the United Education Institute and enrich college life, our college held a 2023 freshman debate competition in Room 112, Building 17, on December 6. This competition is divided into two games, which are the third runner-up battle: the full-body defense team against the Garden Baby team, and the championship battle: the team you are wrong against the team we are right. The judges present in the two competitions are:Shuhe  Yu, deputy team of the Chinese debate team of the School of Foreign Languages, Chenlei Xu, member of the debate team of the School of Psychology, member of the school debate team, Lifan Wu, deputy team of the debate team of the School of Education, the best debater in the whole process of the Marxist College debate competition,Yexin Shen, deputy captain of the debate team of the Academy of Marxism, and the debater of the School of Psychology.Kuan Dong, deputy team of the discussion team, and Xinyi Yao, captain of the debate team of the School of Education.

The topic of the third runner-up is: Should young people stay sensitive or blunt nowadays? Among them, the Balala full-body defense team is the positive side, and the Garden Baby team is the opposite side.

At the beginning of the discussion, the positive debate put forward a sensitive definition and explained that this is a talent. Next, it is summarized from the viewpoints of sensitivity can help empathy and sensitivity cultivates insight. In the first link of the four qualities, the anti-four throws Can you be sensitive and empathetic? Wait for a series of questions to be questioned and debated. In the face of danger, he was not afraid, and his witty words were full of words, and he successfully stabilized his feet. When it comes to the anti-party argument, the anti-party representative team cited the example of the excessive sensitivity of small civil servants in Chekov's novels. The opposite side believes that the strong inner resilience in the dull non-sluggish 21 is enough to protect the individual. In the questioning process, the feeling is only temporary, and only sharpness can refute it. In just a few minutes, the audience on the scene felt the extraordinary strength of both sides in the battle.

In the debate of the two sides, the two sides further clarified the relationship between sensitivity and insight, and compared Lenard's sensitivity in scientific development with Crooks's lack of sensitivity and missed the conclusion. On the contrary, the second argument assumes excessive sensitivity to argue that anxiety caused by sensitivity is eroding the new generation, and proposes that sudden feeling is beneficial to the mental health of China's new youth. In this battle, the two sides were eloquent and drew applause from the audience.

In the third debate question session, the affirmative side was well prepared, and asked how to ignore the negative emotions that have been generated with sudden feeling, which directly attacked the other side's core theory, while the negative side proposed the importance of sudden feeling in medical rehabilitation, which collided with a strong macro debate. At one point the scene was very heated, with both sides biting their own points of view and not backing down.

In the free debate, the Government repeatedly refuted the difference between insensibility and feeling, while the Opposition insisted on questioning the Government's underlying logic and contending for the trend of the topic. The scene of the competition went into a fever pitch.The debaters on both sides showed the strength of their eloquence.

At the end of the four debates, the two sides sorted out their views and promoted the theme. Judges Shuhe Yu,Chenlei Xu and Lifan wu affirmed the excellent performance of both sides, pointed out the shortcomings and taught their own experience. This hearty competition made the debaters and the audience have gained a lot.

After a short break came the most exciting championship. The positive side is you are wrong, and the negative side is we are right.They debated whether academic shame in Yiji Kong literature is a real problem.

In the debate between the two sides, the Square first indicated that the academic shame in Kong Yiji Literature was ashamed that he had to engage in a job for which he hardly needed a diploma. “Immediately afterwards, the Square proposed two sub-arguments: from a personal psychological perspective and from a realistic perspective, and cited the data of the 2022 Autumn Recruitment Campus White Paper to support its view. In the anti-four cross-examination is one, the anti-four debate that academic shame is only a phenomenon or result, academic shame is not a problem, academic shame is a process, appearance, and the essence is the problem of social structure. And compared to the square one debate also rose to the national level, justified.

In the second debate, the Square and the second debate, we think that whether the academic shame in Yiji Kong 's literature is a real problem depends on whether this problem has troubled the contemporary young people. The argument should focus on the question of whether it is a true question and give an example of the corresponding situation. The debaters on both sides were quick in thinking in this session, and counterattacked each other's logical flaws one by one.

In the three debates, the opposition still stands in the true question, which means that it is close to the essence, close to the bottom, and logic. And to focus on the main aspects of the problem to ask questions, concluded that can not be ashamed of the reason is to obtain a high degree. The Government said that young people's efforts for personal development are not proportional to the rewards given by society. It is constantly demonstrated by the situation. Both sides have withstood the pressure of heavy cross-examination, calm and elegant demeanor.

The performance of the positive and negative sides in the free debate session is also very wonderful. The two sides use theory to draw out their own views, and combined with typical examples to analyze and summarize, launched a deeper discussion.  The contestants were eloquent and eloquent. The students listened attentively and applauded constantly. Every moment was full of wonderful.

In the final four debates, the two sides combed the previous arguments and explained the differences again. They sublimated the arguments with vivid language, with clear logic and strong rendering power.

As the competition approached, the judges evaluated the arguments of both sides, pointed out the loopholes and shortcomings, and gave suggestions.

Looking back on the two unique debates, each debater is a war of words, every word abounding, amazing sentence.They shine in the debate arena, or impassioned, loudly intoned ;Or pulling silk and peeling calluses, telling the story. Or they talk about it with humor.;Or categorical, eloquent.Going back to the ancient Chinese history of five thousand years, along the current world pattern, attracted the audience judges clapping.  

After a tense match, the result was finally born: the team we are right won the championship.You are wrong and Garden Baby won the second and third place.Junqi   Du and Shuwen Xie won the title of Best Debater.

The debate ended successfully in warm applause. The debate competition enlivened the atmosphere of our college, enriched the campus life of the students of United Education, strengthened the communication between the students, and provided a platform for the majority of students to show themselves. In the intense preparation and competition process, the students' sense of teamwork and random response ability have been greatly exercised. I believe that the good atmosphere of being diligent in thinking, daring to think and being good at thinking will continue to become a common practice!
