Dr. Rick Ginsberg is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is the dean of the School of Education and Humanities at the University of Kansas in the United States and has previously served as the dean of the School of Education at Colorado State University. He has served in institutions such as the Chicago Board of Education, the University of South Carolina, the University of New Orleans, and the University of Roosevelt. Formerly served as the Chairman of the Kansas Professional Standards Committee, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Teachers' Education Colleges (AACTE), a member of the Board of Directors of the Educator Training Certification Committee (CAEP), and a member of the CAEP Standards and Performance Reporting Committee; Has won the Outstanding Professional Publication Award of the American Association of University Managers and the Annual Recommended Book Award of the National Library Association for Learning Disabilities; Participated in the co authorship and editing of four books, as well as the writing of more than 20 book chapters. Published over ten journal papers, mainly focusing on educational policies, school reform, and educational accountability.
