In order to fully reflect the educational characteristics of the School of Joint Education at the University of Kansas, Zhejiang Normal University, strengthen its educational positioning, and enhance students' international dialogue abilities, the college has recently launched an undergraduate English proficiency improvement plan, aiming to lay the foundation for future all English teaching and help improve the quality of talent cultivation in the college.
On the morning of November 24th, Dr. Sabika officially launched the English proficiency improvement program in a Smart Classroom in Building 16 for 58 students majoring in primary education from he School of Joint Education. It is reported that Dr. Sabika's course integrates daily English with academic English, aiming to gradually help students adapt to an all English learning environment and lay a solid foundation for future American curriculum learning in primary education.
That afternoon, Xiaowei Ding, a teacher from the School of Foreign Languages provided guidance on College English test for all the classmates.Teacher Ding provided professional guidance and suggestions for students in the CET-4 and CET-6 from five aspects: vocabulary, listening, writing, translation, and reading. She also provided students with a pulse diagnosis style preparation service and gave a detailed answers to various complicated questions.
The courses brought by these foreign language teachers and foreign teachers are both interesting and practical, which are both part of the United Education Institute undergraduate English proficiency improvement program.
It is reported that in this semester, to provide targeted guidance for students' English proficiency exams and English application ability improvement,the United Education Institute will hold 16 English Ability Enhancement Plan special series of activities consecutively.The following days, the United Education Institute will provide high-quality and multi-channel menu style training based on the characteristics and needs of students,comprehensively and systematically create a new model for undergraduate English learning and application, develop students development and talent, and assist in the creation of the Zhejiang Golden Business Card for joint education.
