Beijing time on September 13,2023,due to some relative events of Joint Education Institute of Zhejiang Normal University and University of Kansas,Zhejiang normal university and Kansas university host online meetings.Joe Potts，Assistant Vice Provost for International Affairs,Sheree Willis, Head of International Affairs in the School of Education and Human Sciences, Lisa Wolf-Wendel, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, Heidi Hallman, Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, David Hansen, Chair of the Department of Educational Psychology, and Jennifer Kurth, Chair of the Department of Special Education from Kansas university and Mao Xilong, Director of the International Division of Zhejiang Normal University, Yang Kai, Deputy Director of the International Division, Huang Xiao, Dean of the School of Education, Wang Lianghui, Vice Dean, Wang Zhanjun, Vice Dean, and Zhu Jian, Project Director, attended the meeting.Relevant administrative staff from the International Office and the School of Education of Zhejiang Normal University participated in the meeting.

Huang Xiao, Dean of the School of Education, reviewed the curriculum and credit hours of the three majors and four directions of graduate science and technology education, applied psychology and special education, and gave a brief introduction to the University of Kansas on the enrollment and opening arrangements of the first elementary education undergraduate in 2023.

The meeting discussed in detail the undergraduate and master's program of the United Education School, teaching courses, faculty allocation, graduation requirements, graduate enrollment plan, etc. The relevant persons in charge of the departments of the College of Education and Human Sciences of the University of Kansas said that they will implement the content of this conference as soon as possible and develop a systematic document on the teaching faculty and courses taught by the United States, and work closely with Zhejiang Normal University to provide excellent teaching and services for the undergraduate freshmen of primary education and the new graduate students who will be ushered in.
